Abstract :
A positioning control method has been studied using rope-less elevators with linear synchronous motors. Insufficient performance is obtained by the use of displacement and velocity feedback systems. The results of a velocity feedforward loop addition to this system satisfied the requirements, and this control scheme was proved to be efficient
