Abstract :
Summary form only given. Previous experiments at 0.1 TW level have shown that stability and radiation of fast Z-pinch could be strongly increased by imploding an aluminum vapor jet onto a very thin coaxial wire. We present here first results of an aluminum Z-pinch using a similar liner but at mega-ampere level.
