Abstract :
In supply chains, the uncertainty of demand is one of the reasons why a bullwhip effect occurs, which is then proliferated by the management and planning rules of the various links in the chains. The greatest impact of management efforts will be felt on a tactical level. In fact, throughout the entire planning process, it will be the sales & operations planning (S&OP) that is initially confronted with demand. On a tactical level, robustness and stability are of prime importance. In this article, we propose the use of fuzzy logic to improve the results of a management policy, termed the reference plan. The simulation of various planning processes enables us to demonstrate that this approach provides a good compromise between several indicators if demand is sufficiently unstable
