Abstract :
Based on energy balance, the periodic behavior for pulse skipping modulation (PSM) Buck converter operated in DCM is analyzed in this paper. The energy balance (EB) model is firstly built by energy balance rule. And then, the nonlinear periodic behavior of the closed loop system is quantitatively analyzed within load regulation range. Finally, the S-switching mapping (SSM) model is also set up. The simulation results of EB model are good agreement with that of SSM model, which verify the validity of EB model.
