Abstract :
High-speed tuning of an extended-cavity semiconductor laser is demonstrated using a scanning polygon filter. We achieved a tuning rate of 7714-nm/ms with 65 mW of power over a wavelength range of 135-nm and with an instantaneous line-width ~ 0.13 nm.
