Abstract :
This paper establishes a growth model to explain the growth of the specialized cooperative economic organizations of farmers(SCEOF), using survey data to test the growth model of SCEOF. To do the empirical study, an Ordered Probit Model is employed to explore the influencing factors which determinate the growth of SCEOF. The results shows that leaders´ management ability, income distribution within the organization, sales ratio, proportion of production, procurement, financial information disclosure times, the internal oversight mechanisms, regulatory and administrative departments of government support to farmers have more significant positive impacts on the growth of SCEOF. Finally, the article puts forward some policy recommendations.
