Abstract :
A monolithic pulse frequency modulation control DC-DC boost converter, which is suitable for white LEDs driver integrated circuit, is presented in this paper. The proposed boost converter is capable of driving 6 white LEDs about 20 mA output current. The input voltage range is from 2.3 V to 6 V and the maximum output voltage Vout, max is 29.6 V that is suitable for lithium ion battery applications. The converter circuit is designed and simulated by using UMC 0.6 m embedded high voltage 30 V CMOS technology. The maximum quiescent current is only 0.16 mA and 84% efficiency can be achieved
