Abstract :
Gd2O3:Eu3+, Tb3+ and Bi3+ ions co-doped Gd2O3:Eu3+, Tb3+ powders were synthesized by solvothermal reaction method. The crystalline structure, surface morphologies and phase transitions of these powders were investigated according to annealing process by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission-scanning electron microscopy, photoluminescence spectroscopy (PL) and transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The purpose of this study is to compare the luminescence properties of Gd2O3:Eu3+, Tb3+ and Bi3+ ion co-doped Gd2O3:Eu3+, Tb3+ phosphors which were synthesized at Bi3+ ions concentration.
