This paper constructs a comprehensive classification standard which constituted by five variables reflecting the migrant workers´ actual migration behaviors. Migrant workers´ migration patterns are divided into two categories according to their actual migration behaviors: temporary migration and permanent migration. Then, compare the major economic indicators and test the differences between categories. The result indicates that temporary migrant workers and permanent migrant workers are significant differences in annual income, occupation types, working hours per day, consumption level per month, living area per capita in cities, the number of their entertainments in cities.
