Abstract :
Summary from only given, as follows. Suface formulations consist a good alternative to the volume ones under special conditions. The purpose of this paper is to present an investigation on the range of their validity validity and heighlight their limits. A sensitivity analysis of the solution will be carried out in termes of every physical quantity influencing the field penetration in the conducting regions using the FLUX3D software package. Finally numerical concerning 3D computation of ohmic losses developed in a transformer´s tank will be interpreted according to the criteria deriving from this study.
