Abstract :
The paper investigates the application of the linogram technique to an exact cone-beam filtered-backprojection algorithm. The new algorithm is applied to simulated data for a dual orthogonal orbit, and to a single circular standard orbit. In the latter case, a new technology is proposed to compensate for the fact that the orbit does not provide complete data. The results demonstrate the image improvement allowed by the use of linograms, as well as an important speed-up of the reconstruction
