Abstract :
Great disasters may be caused by corrosion of metal structure. It is necessary to detect corrosion rate of metal structure in the field. A new technique of designing a distributed corrosion detect system based on CompactRIO is introduced in this paper. The hardware design and the software design are discussed. The laboratory experiment and field test are made. The system can be used to detect corrosion of different metal structures.
