Abstract :
In wireless sensor network, there were energy loss and data delay problems. Therefore, AIRP-PEGASIS (a improvement of routing protocol -Power-Efficient Gathering in Sensor Information Systems) was proposed through analyze the previous PEGASIS routing protocol. The algorithm was submitted which researched PEGASIS Protocol and improved algorithm based on the combination of mechanics the concept of center of mass. The algorithm divided the entire sensor area into five regions. By calculating the distance of each of the child nodes to the base station in the region and depending on the distance from the base station to node become a long chain. Introduced the concept of center of mass found energy center of each regional node. While combined energy consumption as a percentage of the distance from the base station to each node. The last cluster head node in each region directed to the base station transmission of the information. Theoretical analysis and simulation results show AIRP-PEGASIS algorithm reduce the global rate of energy consumption; less information delayed and extended the network life cycle.
