Abstract :
The stuffing is not only the support carrier which microbe grows, but also the transfer medium of fluid and gas, and performance of the stuffing influences the removing efficiency of hydrogen sulfide directly. Thus the removing efficiency hydrogen sulfide odor at moderate concentration with different stuffings (Raschig ring, Zeolite and Activated carbon) was studied by the bio-membrane method in this paper. The results are listed as follows: (1) The ranking of removing efficiencies of hydrogen sulfide of the three stuffings is activated carbon>;zeolite>;Raschig ring under the same sprinkling amount, penetrating concentration, temperature or aerated amount. Among the four factors, the biggest effect on the stuffings is aerated amount, while the effect of sprinkling amount is the smallest. (2) When the penetrating concentration is 20mg/m3, the nutrient solution sprinkling amount is 10L/h, the temperature is 30°C and the aerated amount is 0.16m3/h, the removing efficiency of three stuffings reaches the highest value.
