Abstract
The use of optical elements in control systems has become common and sometimes even a necessity. We tried to design an optically implemented fuzzy-controller that will bring to reality the advantages of optics, such as processing speed, flexibility and parallelism. A computer simulation allowed us to check the influence of the membership function on the results in several system configurations
