Abstract :
Frame synchronization sequences with the smallest possible correlation sidelobes are determined by exhaustive search for the case when the frame sync word is preceded by specific bit sync patterns. These are 16-bit frame sync sequences with length up to 32. For a given length, these sequences have significantly lower sidelobes than the optimum autocorrelation sequences
