Abstract :
The main components of fossil power plant such as boiler, turbine, and generator are independently managed by separated control systems which have totally different platforms. However, recently, many fossil power plants request Integrated Monitoring and Control System (IMCS) which has standardized single platform and control system by reason of effective management. This paper presents the development of control program in such environment. This paper focuses especially on excitation control system in generator which suffers big change in expression method of control process.
