Abstract

With the increasing development of the coal industry and the increasing levels of automation, the technology of the coal preparation based on PLC has been applied greatly. In order to realize the centralized monitoring and controlling of the main operation equipment, the coal preparation plant(CPP) will adopt the Siemens S7-300 series PLC, the industrial configuration WinCC and the industrial Ethernet. Meanwhile, the discrete graphics will be needed to improve the performance of older equipment. The result shows that the system enhances the reliability of equipment operation, reduce the number of the on-site personnel, and improve the efficiency.
