Abstract :
A tunable master-oscillator power-amplifier (MOPA) picosecond optical pulse source using all chirped quantum dot (QD) structures is demonstrated (60 nm tunability). Under fundamental mode-locked operation, the highest peak power of 4.39 W is achieved.
