            Abstract : 
A novel model for evaluating microstrip dispersion is presented. The proposed model is simple and is based on the two-dimensional field equations of microwave planar circuits. Quantitative results obtained fit well available experimental data and are compared with those corresponding to other models for both lossless and lossy structures.<>
