Abstract :
The boundary optimal control problems with unknown initial conditions is investigated in the work. We consider two processes: the heat and wave processes. The formulas for the gradient of the target functional are obtained for the considered problems. These formulas allow to use the numerical methods of the first order to solve the problems.
