Abstract
The paper presents noteworthy results upon the influence of some specific electromagnetic fields emitted by three types of wireless communication systems (GSM 900, DECT and Bluetooth) on target acquisition and processing of real-time EKG signals. We have used a cardiac signal simulator, aiming to avoid other subjective stimuli, in order to extract only the significant influences due to some specific radio-frequency traffic upon the EKG signal, including the collecting leads from the source and the electrocardiograph itself.
