Abstract :
This paper designed a communication platform, based on multiple protocols and aimed at building automation system, which can be used for technical training and experiment. The platform adopts an ARM Cortex-M3 micro-controller and owns abundant peripheral circuit and interface. With embedded TCP/IP protocol stack and file system, it can implement data file transmission easily. The host software is developed with C# language and can upload or download data between the platform and the host PC. We also implemented static Web function on the platform. With the homepage, the equipments interfaced with the platform can be showed in details. Through JPEG coding and decoding technology, a TFT-LCD is used for image display. Finally, multiple protocol such as CAN RS232 and RS485 are interfaced to the platform and then connected to Ethernet via necessary conversion
