  • Abstract
    4PL is the new type of outsourcing in logistics services, of which the appearance is not only on the basis of the development of IT, but also the application of the Theories about the Modern Division and Exchange Cost. This paper analyzes the feasibility and necessity of the appearance of the 4PL from the prospective of the E-commerce as the basis of the 4PL, according to the Modern Division Theory and the Exchange Cost Theory, and then gets the proof to illustrate that the appearance of 4Pl is the final result of cost-cut and the increase of efficiency.
