Title :
Symbolic analysis aid to power flows graphing in open electricity market

Abstract :
The costing and pricing of electricity is the key issue of the liberalization process. The power and the energy produced, consumed and exchanged between the two parties, i.e. the trading products, are traditionally monitored by the AC or the DC load flow solutions and/or participation factors. The paper proposes the symbolic analysis of the DC load flow solution and the computer program SADCLF (the symbolic simulator) as an aid to the problem of the power flows graphing (visualization). Transactions are allocated and their net impact on transmission are easily visualized using the proposed method.
