Abstract

From the point of view of our semiotic theory, the integration of adaptive hypermedia presentation techniques, emotional imagery style design concept and the elderly Human-Computer interface design, is applied to develop "intelligent seniors assisted briefing authoring and presentation system". The purpose in this study is to build a suitable operation briefing editing and display system for the elderly, and to provide the elderly with quickly and easily creating a vivid possessed personal style of hypermedia presentation, shortening the digital gaps of the elderly, and actively assisting the elderly to use the Internet and computers to engage in social activities.
