Abstract :
This paper introduces a novel and fast face detection algorithm that can quickly split the human face region from a color image. This algorithm can remedy the disadvantages of projection-algorithm that locate the single-face only. It´s not only processing in real-time but also especially suitable for embedded system. It is help to integration of face recognition system. In this algorithm, we utilize skin color segmentation to separate the skin color area from the background, and then combine the morphological approach, image labeling and body analysis to locate human faces at last.
