Abstract :
Pneumatic conveying is generally described as the transfer of bulk materials through pipelines with the use of compressed gasses. Fluidization is a new technology applying to cement pneumatic pipe conveying. Fluidization is a process similar to liquefaction whereby a granular material is converted from a static solid-like state to a dynamic fluid-like state. When solid particles are fluidized, solid particles will behave as a fluid, like a liquid or gas. This process occurs when a fluid (liquid or gas) is passed up through the granular material. This paper designs a set of cement pneumatic conveying device by calculating pipeline pressure lose and weighing devices, level controlling devices, dust catcher, etc. This system had worked very well in the field.
