It is a pleasure for me to welcome you at the Workshop on Dependable Parallel and Network -Centric Systems (DPDNS08) in Miami , Florida. DPDNS workshops have grown in quality and attendance over the past years to become an international forum where attendees can address and discuss all the issues related to the converging fields of dependable computers and communications.
