Abstract :
Existing security of Internet has principally focused on preventing leakage of the user´s data to others by applying the cryptographic technology to the data transmission and receiving process between the Internet system and the user´s computers, and the source-viewing on the web browser. However, with an increasing number of government entities including the “e-government” of the Republic of Korea issuing a wide range of certificates through the Internet, the data security on the users´ computers, along with the existing security concept, is becoming ever more important. In other words, the data protection system from the conventional security concept can not prevent data leakage through the output equipment. When being printed out, temporary files are stored inside the computer in the decrypted form, and, adding to the existing web-viewing related security, this calls for a brand-new security measure for the print-out process as well. Accordingly, an Internet Certificate Issuing System for “Civil Petitions e-Learning” needs to be designed so that it only allows a simple source-viewing by the additional use of the other separate code system than the web pages, or it leaves no temporary files behind in the computer during the print-out process.
