  • Abstract
Life cycle assessment (LCA), a holistic methodology, can be used to estimate the environmental performance of conventional lead-based solders and their substitutes. Data collected at Ford plants and/or provided by Ford electronic suppliers are being used to assess the environmental performance of these solders. For this purpose, LCA is being used; a cost analysis is also being conducted
