Abstract :
The university´s invention patents are always brought out during the process of science research, which relies on various funds. Government investment is the main source of college research funds. This paper analyzes the relationship of the number of college invention patents authorized of Jangsu Province from 1997-2007 and the structure of government R&D funds, in order to figure out the effect of different funds on the invention patents, then ultimately put forward effective suggestions for improvement.
