            Abstract : 
An approach to computing the scattering matrix of a two-dimensional lossless network with two elements is presented. These examples are given to show how an incommensurate line network is realized. Recurrence formulas for calculating the scattering parameters of n cascaded two-dimensional networks are derived. To exhibit the merits of the proposed approach, a broadband double matching incommensurate line network is synthesized.<>
