  • Abstract
Market segmentation can go a long way toward making standardized building blocks possible. Market segmentation is defined along with its underlying assertions which include time/cost savings and quality aspects. By analyzing the specifications which come with RFQs, market segments can be found. An overview of this process is presented in this paper
