Low-carbon economy is another great advance of the human society after agricultural civilization and industrial civilization. An emerging economic development model inevitably requires the enterprise strategic transformation, namely, transforming the high-carbon strategy into the low-carbon strategy. In fact, the sensible enterprises are turning to the low-carbon development strategy in succession when confronted with the challenges of resource exhaustion, environmental pollution and financial crisis. Therefore, a clear understanding of relationship between low-carbon economy and enterprise strategic transformation has an important focusing role in the adjustment and planning of enterprise strategy. The road of low-carbon economy is a major forward-looking strategic transformation. The paper discusses the significance of low-carbon economy and the cause-and-effect relationship and interaction relationship of low-carbon economy and enterprise strategic transformation, and proposed that: the road of low-carbon economy is a major forward-looking strategic transformation for enterprises.
