Abstract
Based on previous research in open literature, this paper presents a low drop-out (LDO) regulator with multiple capabilities of constant current limiting circuit, fold-back current limiting, and thermal shutdown. By using TSMC 0.35 um CMOS technology, the circuit function is simulated and verified by circuit simulator of HSPICE. The supply voltage of the LDO regular is capable of ranging from 0.9 V to 1.1 V. When output loading is changed from light to heavy status, the transient responses time is less than 30 us.
