Abstract :
In this paper, an improved induction motor model is proposed for the large transient analysis of high power induction motor drives under saturated conditions. This model takes into account deep-bar and magnetic saturation effects and is computed by finite element resolutions. Its performance is compared with that of a reference model in the case of a three-phase short-circuit fault
