Abstract
This paper describes two applications of automatic learning methods applied to the dynamic security assessment of power systems. These studies use a dynamic database describing the dynamic behavior of the French power system This database is the result of a statistical approach applied to power systems security assessment. Through these two studies, the authors expose the potentiality of automatic learning methods and statistical approach applied to dynamic security assessment of power systems.
