Abstract :
The main purpose of this paper is to utilize a microcontroller for realizing the image-based XXY positioning platform. By the numerical analysis of platform´s motion, the formulas of coordinate transformation have been gotten. Therefore, the XXY platform can be controlled to move to the assigned position according to the operators´ command. With the incorporation of image recognition technology, the position error between UUT and detected object can be known. The information of error will be provided to accomplish the position control. The practical test results demonstrate that the proposed method can result in an accurate position control of XXY platform.
