Abstract :
We experimentally demonstrate an orthogonal ASK/DPSK labeling using a 40 Gb/s Manchester coded payload and a 2.5 Gb/s DPSK label. The extinction ration can be increased to 11 dB resulting in 8 dB improvement for the label sensitivity.
