  • Abstract
    In this study, a `lump-parameter´ model was formulated to represent a large flexible space structure (solar panel) controlled by bonded piezoceramic actuators. A control strategy based on fuzzy logic theory (FLC) was developed for vibration damping. A comparison of the performance of the proposed FLC with that obtained by applying LQR is presented
