Abstract :
This paper presents a novel 3-way microwave power divider design with a novel high-efficient and compact six-port branch-waveguide directional couplers. The coupler has low loss, low VSWR, good amplitude and phase balance and good isolation. Compared with traditional binary power/combiner, 3-way power divider/combiner has higher efficiency. Simulated results of the power splitter/combiner have shown that the return loss is greater than 30 dB, the isolation is greater than 25 dB, the amplitude difference of output ports is less than 0.3 dB.
