  • Abstract
    We propose and demonstrate a cost-effective self-restorable bi-directional WDM-PON based on ASE-injected FP-LDs, which utilizes the periodic and routing characteristics of the arrayed waveguide grating. The network restoration was achieved within 7 ms.
