Abstract :
This paper deals with the transient stability analysis of a synchronous motor by applying Lyapunov´s direct method. The method can easily obtain information about the system stability, even for nonlinear systems. An example of the stability criterion is shown to explain this method. The transient stability limit can also be obtained by this method
