Abstract :
An intelligent signal analysis system (ISAS) is established. The main functions of this ISAS system are: deterministic dynamic signal processing, stochastic signal processing and digital filter design. The main features of this (ISAS) system are: the design consideration of the ISAS system; very rich algorithm base (AB), most of the algorithms are adaptive, hence both the model order and model parameters can be updated according to the new data sequences; the inference engine has a lot of functions of analysis; the knowledge base can be extended by learning; selections of model (e.g. AR or ARMA) estimation of model order and model parameters can automatically be performed; and it can analyze single variable, multi-variable and two-dimensional signals
