Abstract
Presents an approach to the vehicle routing problem. The method is based on self-organizing maps with one-dimensional neighborhood, adjustable number of neurons and network training guided by fuzzy rules. The distinctive aspect is the successful application of the algorithm to several instances while keeping parameters unchanged
