            Abstract : 
We study optimal operating conditions for 160-Gb/s signals traversing a slow-light delay line based on parametric amplification. Six phase modulated formats are investigated, including CSRZ, PAP-CSRZ, GAP-CSRZ, RZ duobinary, RZ DPSK and RZ.
