Abstract :
The present paper describes the application of the biogeography-based optimization approach to determine the optimal real time reconfiguration in radial distribution smart networks. The main objectives are to minimize the active power loss. A detailed performance analysis is applied on 33, 69, 84, and 118 bus networksto illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methodology.
