Abstract
Non-linear averaged-value models are derived for the twelve-pulse rectifiers that typically form the input stage of more electric aircraft actuator and motor drive systems. Double-wound delta-star and autotransformer configurations are considered. The models allow rectifier and drive system interactions to be examined analytically, or through rapid simulation. The models are validated by comparison with a detailed circuit simulation.
