  • Abstract
In this paper, a new self-tuning control (STC) for machining processes is researched. The parameters of the plant are estimated online, the discrete sliding model of machining process is built, and the sliding mode self-tuning control (SMSTC) strategy is realized. The simulation of the constant turning force adaptive control (AC) system with this control strategy shows good dynamic and static characteristics
